The Coral Collection is an homage to the trees of the ocean, but also a living picture of coral fossils. The importance of the our oceans and seas, and the complex ecosystems that always assemble around coral reefs. Fossils are beautiful, but coral reefs are not extinct, so we hope our fossil like collection will be a reminder of the problems of overfishing, and ruining the sea in which we sometimes swim, but other millions of species call home. Your Coral piece is not regular in shape, nor in texture, modelling itself to have an organic soul. The textures found on coral are partial . The curvature of the pieces follow an irregular yet not chaotic; a meaningful representation of the diversity of our world.
